At September 15th afternoon, from East China Normal University, Journalism and Communication (political communication direction) Master, Grade 2015 Students’ 2nd period internship results report meeting and grade 2016 students’ internship mobilization meeting convened in the Propaganda Department of Minhang District. People who attended the symposium meeting included, that the associate director Teacher Bian Qingfang from press section of the propaganda department of Minhang District Committee, person in charge of each internship unit, the director of the political communication project center of the Political Science department, Teacher Liu Shaoting, the director of professional practice base, Teacher Yu Jing, the grade 2015 student representatives who accomplished the internship and thegrade2016 who were about to start the internship.
At the beginning of the meeting, Teacher Bian introduced the heads of the various departments present at the meeting to everyone, arranging the heads of each department to sit together in pairs with the students who will be docked next term to facilitate quick understanding and direct communication. Teacher Bian made a brief summary of the previous internship, introduced that Minhang District is currently experiencing the key period of " the creation of the National civilized city" , encouraged students to cultivate the quality and ability of doing the" big things" from starting the"small thing" .Subsequently, the four grade 2015 student representatives of 2nd period internship done a summary report about their respective internship work, share the specific content of their work in different departments and the harvest to the teachers and the school descendant. From topic to interview, from copywriting to activity planning, from brainstorming to falling down, everyone is deeply involved in the trivial and specific of each step. The practice of the process making everyone aware of their own shortcomings on the one hand, and truly feel the improvement of their own ability on the other hand.
After that, Teacher Liu Shaoting made a summary of the speech, affirming the students’ outstanding performance during the internship of last period, appreciating the help and guidance from the various leading teachers of the practice base. At the same time,Teacher Liu reminded grade 2016 students to enter the role as soon as possible, be familiar with the internship position, clear their own functions, be more active and pay attention to the regulations and disciplines that should be followed during internship at the institution. Teacher Yu Jing remind students to cherish the opportunity of participating in observation, to find research issues in the grass-roots work and inject new inspiration for their own academic research. Finally, the student representative Zhang Wen of the next period of internship expressed the gratitude to the practice base for providing the internship opportunity and the commitment and confidence that everyone would do a good job during internship.
The joint practice base of the District and College created the practical platform for the students and injects fresh power into the district propaganda work, which was a move to kill two birds with one stone. The symposium marked the end of the Journalism and Communication (political communication direction) Master students’ 2nd period of the 2016-2017 annual internship work at the practice base of the Minhang District Propaganda Department, and also indicated that the 1st period of the 2017-2018 internship work kicked off.
