Graduate students enrolled and in good standing at accredited universities worldwide interested in doing their master’s or doctoral research in China may apply to become Research Fellows at East China Normal University. Research fellows are required to register for at least 12 credits per term in residence. These credits may come from any of the courses offered at ECNU, not only those given by the Department of Politics. The credits may come also from directed research, non-directed research, and internship credits. The International Graduate Program in Politics helps applicants with their student visas and, once in China, gives them a research base, research support and guidance.
